I thought the same thing! And randomly, I actually DID watch this episode - my first in a few months - and I laughed out loud!!! I guess they really need the money, lol. |

Yes, the information is real. I don't put out any "joke" releases. I stick with the facts. Here are links from Google's news search engine about the matter: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=FDA+Cheerios&aq=f&oq=&aqi= |

ET is so long ago, so itīs not the best example. Todayīs product placement is much more aggresive. And the DAYS product placement obviously works. People register it, people talk about it, no matter how much they laugh or ridicule it the name of the product is building a place in their memory. Thatīs all the company want. |

I shamefully admit I actually did buy a box of Cheerios this weekend after reading the day-ahead that mentioned it. I usually don't eat dry cereal and almost never go down that aisle in the store but I actually did start thinking about whether I should eat breakfast and why not Cheerios. I have not, however, purchased Tyson Anytizers nor do I have any plans to do so. |

I watched Monday's episode online this weekend (someone from Canada posted it) and saw this scene and thought it was horrible. Peter and Kristian sold it but it went on for what felt like forever. I know they have to do this so I have no issue with it but they need to be less blatant about it. Like others have said, simply have the character using the product and saying they like the product. There is no need to basically have a glorified commercial in the middle of the action because it just disrupts the whole show. They could've just had Hope giving Cheerios to Ciara and telling her they are good for her and she likes them herself or something. It's not that hard. |

The worst thing about this is that we were deprived of a "Pete Scene". Arggggh. Ever since Sister Hernandez came on the scene, we never see the best looking Brady's Pub employee anymore. This deletion also explains the "choppiness" of the "We're taking you in for questioning, Henderson" scenes. When the three of them just "appeared" at the Pub table, it was a tad nonsensical, since we had last seen them exiting the Kiriakis Manse. |

I still think this is odd since the Cheerios advertising has not changed at all regardless of what the "excuse" is. I believe more that Cheerios backed out of paying for the advertising so Days cut it. I can't find a genuine article that talks about this alleged cease and desist order allegedly given to General Mills. |

Wait...this is so last week, but I think that was the point. Reese's Pieces were huge and they weren't thrown in your face during E.T. Today's advertising is obnxious and I have no desire to buy any of the product |

None of those even load on my system. You can really stop trying to convince me. The more you try the more I believe what I believe. It's all about the almighty dollar. Plain and simple. The almighty dollar. |
